Sunscreen (Face)

Sunscreen is the most important step in your regimen for the long-term health of your skin. You need to wear (and reapply) SPF30 or above every single day, regardless of your skin type and colour. My favourite facial sunscreens contain filters for UVA and UVB light, and work well under or over makeup.

Retinoid

Retinol is the gold standard in anti-aging skincare, and these are my favourite result-driven products. You can learn more in my retinol masterpost!

First Cleanse

Makeup and sunscreen are designed to form a film on your skin and really stick to it. I cleanse first with an oil or balm, as these are best at gently dissolving the film. Once you try one, you'll never go back to using gel cleanser for makeup removal. Apply and massage in to dry skin, then add water and remove with a soft cloth for best results.

Second Cleanse

A second cleanse in the evening is important to remove any residue from your oil cleanse, and gently prepare the skin for the next product. I firmly believe that cleanser should be as gentle and respectful of the skin's barrier as possible. I like milky cleansers, or a mild gel in the summer/when oily.

Serum

A serum is the workhorse of your skincare routine, formulated to deliver active ingredients for results. I have tried and loved all of these! They’re free from irritants and will give nourishment to your skin.

Moisturiser

Your skin needs moisture, even if it’s oily. I like my moisturiser to be basic, not too active, and to properly seal water into the skin. These are all free from irritating ingredients, perfect for sensitive skin.
